Dashboards¶
Dashboards in IntelliCentral are powerful tools used to organize, display, and work with project-specific data in a clear and structured way. Think of a dashboard as a dedicated space or “branch” within a project that focuses on a particular area of interest or analysis.
Purpose of Dashboards¶
Dashboards help teams divide large projects into manageable sections, each with its own focus. Some common examples include:
- A quarterly dashboard (e.g., “2026 Q1”) for time-based tracking and reporting
- A team-specific dashboard where different teams work on separate parts of the same project
- A topic-based dashboard (e.g., “Oncology Trials”) for organizing relevant widgets and files
Each dashboard contains a layout where widgets are used to visualize or manage data.
Customization¶
Dashboards are fully customizable:
- Add, remove, and rearrange widgets
- Drag and resize elements to suit your workflow
- Configure widgets with different data and filters
This flexibility allows teams to shape dashboards around their exact needs.
Permissions and Access¶
Creating or editing dashboards is permission-dependent:
- Dashboards are visible to all users assigned to the project.
- Only users with the appropriate roles can create, edit, rename, or delete dashboards.
