New Email Alert

The New Email Alert page allows you to create a custom alert using a flexible editor and send it to one or more mailing lists.


Creating an Alert

You’ll see a large editor card with the following fields and tools:

  • To: Select one or more existing mailing lists to send the alert to.
  • Subject: Enter the subject line of the email.
  • Tags: Select internal tags to help categorize and search alerts later.
  • Body: Compose your message using the built-in rich-text editor. Formatting options include text styles, headings, lists, tables, and more.

Top Bar Options

At the top of the editor, you’ll see several buttons:

  • Save Draft: Saves the alert to the Unpublished section for later editing.
  • Attachments: Add one or more files to the email.
  • Publish / Publish & Send:
  • If a mailing list is selected, you can Publish & Send the email immediately.
  • If no mailing list is selected, the button becomes Publish, which saves the alert but does not send it.
