Data Source & Updates

  • Trials are fetched using the TrialTrove API, ensuring access to trusted, up-to-date clinical trial data.
  • A scheduled pull runs periodically to check for updates to any trials currently used in widgets.
  • When a trial is updated, it receives a new tag on its pill or visual display to alert users of the change.
  • Clicking into a trial that has been updated will show a version history dropdown at the top, allowing users to view and compare previous versions of the trial data.

Manual Trial Creation

  • Users can manually add blank trials from any supported widget (e.g., Factsheet, Timeline, Landscape, Geography).
  • All the fields listed above are editable, allowing for complete customization if external data is unavailable or not preferred.
