Timeline Widget

The Timeline widget displays trials across a horizontal time axis, using visual pills to represent trial activity across phases and regions. It’s ideal for tracking development progress and visualizing upcoming milestones within a long-term view.

Site-wide Users Page

The Users page provides a centralized interface for managing all users associated with a company across the entire platform. It is primarily intended for platform administrators or company managers with elevated permissions.

Purpose

  • Quickly access detailed trial data by hovering or clicking

Creating a Timeline Widget

Once you complete the standard setup (see “Widget Creation Process”), populate the widget by:

  • Entering NCT IDs to fetch trial data
  • Creating blank trials manually

You can also configure milestone projections for each trial, anchored to their Primary Completion Date. These milestones include key regulatory or data release points shown visually along the timeline.


Trial Milestones

You can define milestone events that appear as icons on the timeline. These are positioned a user-defined number of months after the trial’s Primary Completion Date. Each milestone only appears for specific trial phases:

Phase 2 Trials

  • Phase 2 Data Release
  • Phase 3 Trial Start
  • Phase 3 Data Release

Phase 3 Trials

  • EU Filing
  • EU Approval
  • EU Launch
  • US Filing
  • US Approval
  • US Launch

If a milestone field is left empty, that icon is omitted from the timeline.


Using the Widget

Trials are displayed as pill-shaped bars spanning across a timeline grid, indicating:

  • Phase duration
  • Regional distribution
  • Current status

Interactions:

  • Hover: Reveal tooltips with additional trial information.
  • Click: Open the trial detail sidebar, identical to the one used in the Landscape widget.
  • CTRL + Scroll: Allows you to scale the timeline to show a shorter or greater period of time.

Milestone icons appear along the timeline path when configured, providing a visual forecast of key dates. A Milestone legend exists below the timeline table which can be expanded to view all existing milestones. ======= This page allows permitted users to:

  • View a list of all users in their company
  • Invite new users to the company
  • Edit existing user details (if permissions allow)
  • View each user’s assigned projects and role

Location

The Users page is located in the main sidebar navigation alongside the Projects page. It is separate from the Project-specific Users page, which only displays users assigned to a particular project.


User Table

The user table displays the following columns:

  • Name
  • Email Address
  • Projects (the user is assigned to)
  • Role
  • Status
  • Edit (available only to users with the correct permissions)

Editing Users

Only users with appropriate permissions can:

  • Change a user’s name
  • Update the email address
  • Modify the role
  • Delete users from the company

Inviting Users

Admins can invite users to the company using the provided invite flow, which sends an email link to join and register on the platform under the company.
